Dell XPS 630 Gaming PC

Dell XPS 630 Gaming PC

When Dell took over Alienware in 2006, there was much speculation about what would happen to the Dell XPS gaming range, and some relief when it seemed they would have peacefully co-exist. Recently, however, that future seemed uncertain, the rumours of a Dell XPS range’s death. Fortunately, these rumours were greatly exaggerated. I say, fortunately, not because the Alienware’s gaming PCs are bad, but because having the XPS range alongside them will provide customers more choice - and I am sure it will, that can not be a bad asia.

In particular, when the target group of customers in this case, it is players, and players such as their individuality. They are basically the September computers are no longer the boring beige boxes, such as at some point in the industry copped general, the fact that people are investing large amounts of time and money on prettying them up, and decided to do it for them - at a premium, of course.

Dell, which has the second-largest PC manufacturer worldwide, has apparently come here to act, which offer tailor-made, looks across the whole of its XPS desktop and laptop range. And even though personally I do not always found on the Dell XPS desktop models the most attractive, I must admit in the current case the line-up (420, 630 and the high-end-730) is a fairly complete. What we have before us today is 630, which fall between the Dell budget and the extreme lines. The 630 is quite a very attractive, even if the missing features, such as the LCD panel, installed in front of a video ports and rubberised recess, which have been found to Lowe spec sibling, the XPS 420.

But before getting onto the case, now the first to examine what you get. The key specifications are impressive, with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core Quad QX6600, dual nVidia GeForce 8800GTS running SLI, 2GB of RAM, two 500 GB hard drives striped RAID 0, and Creative’s Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card.

When the box you’ll also find a full user manual in English, a multilingual e-safety instructions, and a full-colour QUICK GUIDE. All of these are included on a beautiful leather XPS folder with pockets for 16 DVDs, two Velcro Cable ties and textured XPS cleaning cloth. You’ll also Roxio Creator DE 10.1, Microsoft Works 9, OS re-installation disks, the Dell drivers and institutions, as well as SoundBlaster X-Fi CD. (via)
