Synaptics today announced that its ClearPad solution is the driving the interactive touch screen, NTT DoCoMo’s new SH906i clamshell handset. Sharp SH906i is the first ClearPad-enabled mobile phone touchscreen Japan’s Mobile Handset market.

The SH906i uses Synaptics’ ClearPad technology allows for the finger-input character recognition capabilities Japanese nature of income. Combination, the SH906i character recognition software, and Synaptics’ ClearPad solution to improve the accessibility of the regions more complex in the alphabet. Capacitive sensing-based text input allows the user to access and manage any number of applications and menus is a handheld device, a powerful and intuitive way.
