SanDisk acquires MusicGremlin, slips it in front pocket
Quite a lot of time has elapsed since we last saw it necessary to mention the MusicGremlin these pages, but the long-lost outfit that has found itself at this again, thank you for SanDisk. I announced today, the latter company has acquired the former, and we are told that the acquisition of (expectedly) are part of the Sansa audio / video business unit. Including Daniel Schreiber, Director-General and senior VP of the said unit, MusicGremlin “digital distribution platform and the ability to provide SanDisk with the flexibility and innovative technology, which has a key role in the development of the future Sansa products to consumers”, even though he didn ‘t develop much further. If you want to be honest, we do have some serious respect for the Sansa line in the form that has been, so we are very interested to see what impact (if any), this finally be the crew we have come to know so well.
