Samsung introduced its LCD monitor SyncMaster XL30 during CeBIT. The XL30 is a 30 “LCD monitor with LED backlight. Using LEDs instead of CCFLs, the XL30 has a color range to 123% NTSC, which is much better than your typical monitor with a 72% or even better than those with a wide range of colors CCFL ( WCG-CCFL) backlights, which generate 92% NTSC. I am not sure if there are any benefits to having more than 100% NTSC for viewing videos. Video is generated at 100% NTSC.
