Mitac Japan to Release PND Designed for Motorcyclists

Japan based Mitac returns with a new portable navigation gadget for motorcycle riders. Dubbed as the Mio C523 V2, the gadget offers a “slider mode” function, which indicates the direction to follow in several junctions on a single screen, using arrows. Mitac Japan also announced that the time spent looking at the display will be less, because riders can control only follow directions even if the motorcycle ride. The Mio C523 V2 retails for around $ 450. Other features include 1-seg TV tuner, a 4.3 inch touchscreen LCD display, Windows CE OS and SiRF Technology GPS chipset. Mitac PND Japan will be produced at its plant in Kunshan, Jiangsu, China.
