Hard Drive Seagate Savvio 10K.3 320GB

The Savio is the future 10K.3 hard drive from Seagate. Available in 320 GB of storage capacity, Savio, it is alleged that “the world’s highest capacity of” small form factor 2.5-inch hard disk drive the company’s Enterprise servers and storage systems. The device can boast 70% less power, and greater than 60% of the performance of the density of more than conventional 3.5-inch drives. It is also the industry’s first 2.5-inch self-conceal the company’s drive government-grade Full Disk Encryption (FDE) data protection. The Savio also provides the reliability of 1.6 million hours MTBF, and advanced SAS 2.0 (6Gb/sec data rate) interface. The Seagate Savio will be available later this year. (via)
